Sharon Watkins announces release of her first of ten songs - PROUD - “an incredibly moving ballad, a must for anyone who ever had their heart broken and stayed true to themselves!”
Sharon Watkins is the up-and-coming British singer-songwriter that ventured off to the USA for 8 years developing her indie-pop style ballads after winning the UK Northern Songwriters Competition.
She debuts her much-anticipated, first single “Proud” on 28th January 2022, a gorgeous pop-ballad, which has already been accepted onto multiple global radio stations, press outlets and playlists ahead of release. Proud “An incredibly moving ballad - a must for anyone who ever had their heart broken and stayed true to themselves!”.

Collaborators on the album include: Bryan Corbett (trumpeter to the Brand New Heavies); “Bebee” Aldridge (sax player to Gary Barlow & Macklemore); Sam Miller (Sound Engineer to Razorlight & No. 1 album ‘the Trick to Life’ by the Hoosiers); and Sammy J Stopford (session drummer to Abbey Road, Glastonbury and has also featured on Radio 1).
